When talking about your business, could you describe your product/service in one, simple to comprehend sentence? (It is surprising how many find this to be difficult, we are all so keen to talk about ourselves!)
It is also commonplace to be asked about your client base.
But have you ever thought about what it is your clients have in common that attracted them to you and consequently differentiates you from your competitors?
Defining this will help you promote your product/service more succinctly to really hone in and subsequently improve your conversion rate.
So when you are networking or seeking referrals how explicit are you and how simply and quickly can others immediately relate to how they could help you? After all, is that not what networking is all about?
