Dragon’s Den

How would you fare in the BBC TV programme Dragon’s Den?

Have you considered the valuable lessons it provides for entrepreneurs?

It is obviously, significantly about recognising the potential of a company to grow successfully, crucially providing a profitable return. Basically, for the investor is the proposed ROI realistic?

To convince an investor participants have to demonstrate fundamental knowledge. Are the current and potential finances of the company realistic, properly understood and presented with confidence? Does the prospect fully understand their market, able to clearly define the opportunity to be exploited and its future value?

However, it is not always about the money, on a number of occasions investors have bought into the individual, recognising the personal qualities, abilities and engaging nature of the presenter.

When networking or talking to potential clients how do you come across? Are you convincing? Are you confident? Do you appeal as someone with whom to do business?

Are you a potential candidate for Dragon’s Den?
