Accountability – The Key to Success

A year ago I posted a blog on New Year resolutions. Making the point that despite all our best intentions they typically have a short lifespan. Similarly, we set aspirational goals for our business but it takes concerted effort to consistently pursue them. Significant research has correlated positive progress towards achieving business objectives with having a third party, someone whom you trust and rely upon to ensure the appropriate actions are actually being pursued.

THE KEY ASPECT IS ACCOUNTABILITY.

I wonder how many of us when launching our business created a business plan and then never look at it again. Probably more than would care to admit. However those who choose to work with a coach or mentor will review it regularly identifying short to medium term goals to be pursued and modifying them based on experience gained, market conditions, competition, etc.

What are your business objectives for 2019 and how are you going to go about ensuring you actively pursue and accomplished them in a timely manner? 

How will you strive towards creating revenue growth and profit whilst building in resilience to the potential obstacles to be encountered?
